Welcome to Swiss Meadow BMD's
About 12 years ago I encountered my 1 st Bernese Mt. Dog “Maggie” and have dreamt of owning one ever since!! I have done ALOT of research and found out as much as I could about the history of the breed, as well as the temperament, health and type.
Stewart joined our family on January 26 th 2008 at just 9 weeks old. We found him from Wingfield Farms and Cathie Shipe in Bernville PA. Visit Cathie's web site at www.wingfieldfarm.homestead.com and you will see why I chose Stewart as our 1 st Bernese Mt. Dog!!!!
In September 2009 Stewart became an American Champion!! Stewart has had an awesome show career, and we plan on showcasing him even more over the next year or so.
My daughter Alexandria has also had great success with Stewart in the Jr.'s ring, and we are hoping Fancy will help her out with Jr. Showmanship as well.
